"Source Code (2011/Blu-Ray)" Review

Review: I can tell you from the start that it is going to be hard reviewing this movie without giving off too much of the plot. I will try and not give off too much, but I must warn you may find out more than you want to before viewing. Luckily I went into this film without seeing a trailer for this film and without knowing the plot so it made this film that much more enthralling to watch. The basic plot of the film follows Colter Stevens who is put into a program to help prevent future terrorist attacks, but things turn out to be what they seem. Honestly that is all I will tell you about the plot!

I have been a fan of Jake Gyllenhaal ever since I first saw him in the film Donnie Darko nearly 10 years ago and he keeps continuing to impress me on all levels of his acting ability and his performance in this film is no exception. He is also surrounded with a great cast of actors as well with such talents of Vera Farmiga who I loved in the "Orphan (2009)". The rest of the cast was great as well, but the primary 2 that caught my attention the most where the 2 I stated. Aside from the cast I must say that the visual effects looked amazing and the cinematography simply looked gorgeous.
There is some great twists and turns thrown into this film that will help to keep you into the film as well as enough suspense to keep you on the edge of your seat. Overall this was a great film that I highly recommend to anyone that simply loves to watch a great a great thriller now and then!
