"Last House On The Beach" Review

Review: After the success of "The Last House On The Left" there were several films that came out that copied it and this film is one of them, but when I say it copied I don't mean that necessarily in a bad way. This film follows 3 bank robbers who go and hide out at a house that is filled with a group of female students and their teacher who is a nun. From there this film is filled with plenty of sleazy and brutal rape scenes and unbridled violence that can make even the biggest euro-sleaze fan feel dirty. When it comes to the revenge part of this film I have to say I found it quite weak and very much a let down, the ending is very much like what Quentin Tarrantino did in Death Proof but this one just fell short for me and with all honesty that is the only part of this movie I didn't really care for. Now when It came to the acting I very much enjoyed it, each character made you feel the way you should for them such as the criminals made you hope for them to have a torturous and brutal death and the students made you want them to get swift revenge without mercy. Overall this is a great sleazy revenge flick in the vein of Last House On The Left and one of my favorites I Spit On Your Grave (aka The Day of the Woman). I give this film a 4 out of 5!
