"Once Upon A Girl...." Review

Review: After years of wondering about this film I finally have a chance to review this 70's sleaze classic. This movie starts off with Mother Goose (played by Hal Smith from The Andy Griffith Show) who is in court with charges of obscenity, well she tells the "real" versions of 3 classic fairytales: Jack And The Beanstalk, Cinderella, and Little Red Riding Hood. As you know by now these tales are not told in old fashion way, but instead in a way with a great erotic twist to each one. I must mention that this film was directed by Don Jurwich who was the artist and producer for The Flintstones amongst many other famous classic cartoons. Each one of the tales are quite well done and well animated with a great narration from what I like to call "The Dirty Mother Goose". Out of the 3 tales I have to say my overall favorite would have to be Jack And The Beanstalk, I think it's mainly because out of all the old fairy tales Jack And The Beanstalk was my favorite so it was great to see the erotic twist that this version had to offer. Overall this is truly the best time you will ever have watching any fairy tale for a long time to come! Thanks Severin for this long lost classic! I give this film a firm 5 out of 5!
