"Aphrodisiac!: The Sexual Secret of Marijuana (1971)" Review

Review: Once again Impulse Pictures has dug up an obscure erotic film that is a mixture between documentary and porn. The arrangement that this film goes in is they talk a little about the benefits and or history of marijuana and scenes of people fucking. At times I didn't quite expect people to start fucking and then they do and it kinda throws me off because honestly I was more intrigued by the history lesson than I was about watching people fuck.


I really liked when they did the interviews with people on the street and they hand the person a joint that is rolled in papers that have an American flag print on them and then they ask them what they think it is which adds a little humor to the mix. Originally I was told from a friend that this film was boring and that is how I went into it and actually I really enjoyed it in a very odd way. Another thing I really enjoyed is that they still kept the picture dirty and damaged because it really help to add to the feel of the film. If you are into cult films like Reefer Madness then I say pick this one up and sit back, light one up and have a good time!
