"Cannibal! The Musical (13th Anniversary 2-Disc Shpadoinkle Edition) Review

Review:This is the first film from Trey Parker who of course is one of the masterminds behind the show South Park. I had seen this movie back when it first came out on VHS and really it's good it's been awhile since I seen it because now I can truly can appreciate it. Anyways this movie is about Alfred Packer who was an alleged cannibal and was put on trial over it, but trust me Trey Parker makes this movie fun and over the top. With myself not being a musical fan I was very skeptical if I would even be able to make it through this movie and of course I did and truly this is the only musical I would ever recommend. It has some of the most hilarious lyrics to the songs, my favorite of all the songs was "Hang The Bastard" because it was just the best song to end a film I have truly ever seen and besides the fucking cowbell solo was just great! The only thing I didn't like about this film was the pacing, at times it just seemed to move too slow but it won't bother your viewing of this film too much if you ask me. When it comes to the special features, well this one is filled with tons of great stuff but what sticks out the most is the audio commentary that has Trey Parker and some of the cast sitting around getting drunk while watching the movie. Overall this was pure awesomeness and like I said before it's the best musical ever made, bottomline! I give this film a strong 9 out of 10!
