Since this bands return in 2002 with “Back from the Grave” they have tried to reclaim their spot in the death metal scene but in my opinion just didn’t quite reach their goal until now. On this release I can really hear their original sound really coming out in their music. Even though some of the songs on this album slow up and go more with a mid-paced groove they still have plenty of grinding assaults and blast beats. The vocals are about the same as they were on their earlier material. Overall it is a great album that doesn’t break ground but it sure as hell destroys everything in its path. For fans of Vader, Jungle Rot, and Gorefest.
