Downtown Brown "S/T" Review

The first think when you listen to this album is "Is this Mike Pattons bastard son?". These guys have a very Faith No More/Mr.Bungle sound to them from the vocals to the crazy and very odd lyrics. It kinda brings a breath of fresh air to the music scene because these guys know how to make music that doesn't have to always be serious. They make fun of pop-punk kids/bands, power metal, and about everything else. Probably my favorite track off this very intresting album is "Welcome to the Acropolis" which sounds like Weird Al doing a power metal song minus the accordion. Overall it is a fun album but after awhile I begins to lose it's momentum. Definately will bringout the joker side in all metalheads.
