"The S&M Hunter" Review

Synopsis: S&M Hunter is a kind of bondage superhero who has a talent for tying up women in configurations that leave them helplessly aroused. When the all-girl gang, The Bombers, kidnap a man to use as their personal sex slave, S&M Hunter accepts the mission to infiltrate The Bombers’ hideout and show them the ropes.

Review: From the second I laid my eyes on the cover of this DVD I knew I was going to have a blast watching this one. At first when I started to watch I thought, ok this is kinda lame, but when the S&M Hunter showed up the movie changed for me. When they first show him he has a spotlight on him and some great 70's porn sounding music kicks in and he goes to work putting a women into bondage like I have never seen before. I would definitely consider this to be one that could be put in the sexploitation category and on top of that probably one of the funniest ones I have seen in a really long time. Alot of the special effects namely the way he puts women into bondage has a very manga/anime style to it which to me helps make it that much more fun. Now being a fan of Japanese and Asian cinema especially the more oddball side of it, I have to say that this film now ranks up there high with me along the side of other cult films such as Executive Koala and Rug Cop. Now this one is more on the sexual side than the other 2 I listed, but it still has this fun sense of satire and pushes it's self beyond the normal cliches of film. Overall this is a truly bad ass film that I can say I truly enjoyed and wished they still made films like this nowadays.
