"Banshee!!!" Review

Synopsis: A group of college friends on a spring break camping trip are stalked and slashed by an unknown creature with the ability to make them hallucinate through sound waves. The survivors hold up refuge in an isolated farmhouse, cut off from all communication. Now, they have to come up with a plan to kill this unrelenting creature before it kills them. "Banshee!!!" takes the idea of the legendary Irish myth and spins it around into a terrifying and unstoppable monster!

Review: With a cover art like this movie has all I kept thinking is "what the fuck did I get myself into." and I am actually glad to say that this film went way above my expectations. Now even though it did do that I must say this film does nothing new in the realm of horror but it sure does make it fun. I have to say that I found alot of the characters to be kinda standard and some of the acting to be as well but there is alot of redeeming factors to this film such as the overall look and atmosphere. I can truly say that this film looks like it was shot for way more than they actually spent, despite the kinda bad looking CGI monster in the film. I could see this being a film that would be shown on the SyFy channel but the one difference is that this would actually be a good film compared to the badly done schlock they release. After watching this I am really looking forward to seeing their upcoming release of Assault of the Sasquatch. The company who made and released this film is somewhat new but I could see them having alot of potential. Overall this is a pretty good film that I would recommend to any fan of creature features!
